Celebrate BC in the World of Wines Festival

A festive evening of celebrating BC wines in the world of wines will feature BC wines, paired with appropriate food abd mixed with Jazz music to offer an entertaining and educational experience.
This is the first annual Wine Festival in Fort St. John. A wide range of BC wines will be compared with Californian and International wines by Vancouver Sommelier, Tim Ellison.
Tim's informative demonstrations and educational talks on the origin of wines and how to present them will keep the audience of 150 entertained throughout the evening.
Films on where wine comes from and how to make, serve and appreciate it will be part of the evening. Dayna Manning will sing and the Jazz Band, "In Roads" will make the evening a special first time event for Fort St. John. A live and silent auction will help raise funds for the Arts Council.

Register your chocolate cakes, cookies, cheesecakes, squares, candies and more by February 6! Two of each entry are required early on the day of the event. One is for the public auction and one is for tasting during the event.

More than 20 different arts groups in Fort St. John will display their work, history and current programs in the lobby ofthe Cultural Centre for one day only.
Each organization will have unique features in it's display, representing hundreds of participants of the Peace Country involved in the arts, and even more who enjoy the entertainment, education, and added value the arts bring to the community.
