Adult -Teams of 4 or Single’s Welcome Maximum of 20 contestants

Topics:

What does Literacy mean to you?

How is Literacy important in your life?

How can Volunteerism, Literacy, Sports and the Arts help you achieve balance in your life?

 

Age Categories:

Grades 4-7 (300-500 words)

Grades 8-12 (500-800 words)

Adult (500-800 words)

 

Poem - 100 words or less

Prizes will be awarded in each category – First prize is $100 sponsored by the Fort St. John Literacy Society and Employment Connections. Top three entrants will be invited to come out February 12th to read their entry, and the winner announced.

 

Entry forms can be picked up and dropped off at the Fort St. John Literacy Society office, the Library , Employment Connections (9907-99 Avenue) or faxed to Mary at 262-5313 . For information call the Literacy Society office at 785-2110.
