Child Passenger Safety Program
Is your child's seat installed correctly? Over 50% of child seats are used incorrectly. Make sure your child's safety seat is the right one for your child and that it's installed correctly.
The City of Fort St. John and the R.C.M.P. Auxiliary Constable volunteers conduct a free Child Seat Inspection Clinic the 1 st Saturday of every month, at the local Fire Hall from 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM.
Bookings for this date can be arranged through the North Peace Savings & Credit Union at 250-787-0361.
Inspections can also be done outside of this date by contacting Rick Ekkel, the Community Policing Coordinator at 787-8142 or Rob Hergott, ICR Child Seat Technician at 785-9855.
The volunteers, who are trained Child Seat Technicians are available to answer any questions you may have.
