By Road
Fort St. John is located on the famed Alaska Highway. Constructed
during the Second World War, the highway links Grande Prairie, Alberta
with Delta Junction, Alaska.
Fort St John is 1212 kilometers northeast of Vancouver, 654 kilometers
northwest of Edmonton and 930 kilometers northwest of Calgary Alberta.
Daily bus service is available from all of the major cities. Vancouver
to Fort St. John is a 24 hour trip, Calgary 18 hours and Edmonton ten
hours. The Greyhound website has schedules and fares.
By Air
Fort St. John has daily, scheduled flights to Edmonton, Calgary
and Vancouver. Flights from Vancouver are approximately one and a
half hours long. The Air

Peace Air and Central
Mountain Air also have daily flights or you
may want to charter with North
Cariboo Air. Our newest addition is
Hawkair which started daily flights to Vancouver and Victoria on
September 18, 2004.
