Local government elections in British Columbia are held every three years. This includes elections for municipal mayors and councillors, regional district electoral area directors, and trustees for the school district.

 

The next local government elections will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008. Fort St. John City Council consists of one Mayor and six Councillors. All positions will be up for election at this time.
