What is the cost for the lessons?
The cost for a set of 9 lessons which are 30 minutes each is $34.65 and 10 lessons which are 30 minutes each is $38.50. For a set of 9 lessons which are 45 minutes each is $43.65 and 10 lessons which are 45 minutes each is $48.50. Privates are $90.00 per set of 5 (1 half hour lesson per week for 1 person). Adult lessons are $60.00 plus GST.
Private Lessons
We offer private lessons as a set of five lessons (30 minutes once a week) or a set of ten lessons (30 minutes twice a week). These sets of lessons are part of the current Red Cross lessons being offered and if the participant misses a lesson, we do not make up missed classes. If you would like to register for a set of privates, ensure that you have a client profile in our computer and then register beginning May 5th. (see: “How do I register” for payment options)
For those wanting to book one or two private lessons, we offer that option after the first week lessons have started. Please ask our cashier for available times after May 26th. These lessons can be booked anytime during the five week lesson session.
When can I register?
The demand for swim lessons has been overwhelming this past year. Each session is limited by the number of qualified staff and the physical space we have at the North Peace Leisure Pool. To ensure registration is fair and available to all registration will open to everyone on May 5th.
How do I register?
You may register for the April 2008 session beginning May 5th. The last day to register will be May 16th.
How to register:
1. In person at the cashier desk on or after May 5th. The cashier office will be open at 9:00am on May 5th.
2. Over the phone: 787-8178. You will need a VISA or MASTERCARD to register over the phone
3. If you have not taken lessons since September 2007, we would request that you either phone or drop by our cashier desk and set up a profile in our system. This will speed up your registration process on registration day.
• Registration will be closed at 10:00pm,, May 16th.
• PLEASE NOTE: Classes which DO NOT have the minimum number of participants will be cancelled and you will be given a full refund or you may transfer your swimmer to another class which still has room.
What can I expect the first day of classes?
We want to make sure your child is in the appropriate level and has a positive experience. In order to run effective quality lessons, changes in your child’s placement may occur prior to the second lesson.
Refunds/Client Credit/Class Transfers
You may request a transfer, client credit (for future classes) or a refund prior to the 2nd lesson. Your credit/refund will be prorated.
